Marak Ulah WNI Meresahkan di Jepang hingga Kabar Indonesia Di-blacklist, Ini Tanggapan KBRI Tokyo

Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan Kemlu pada Selasa (15/7/2025), merespons munculnya isu terkait perilaku WNI yang meresahkan di Jepang.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com pada Rabu (16/7/2025), ada 10 poin yang disampaikan Kementerian Luar Negeri lewat KBRI Tokyo.
Disebutkan bahwa jumlah WNI di Jepang per Desember 2024 mencapai 199.824 orang.
Mayoritas adalah pekerja di berbagai sektor, sementara 7.000 di antaranya merupakan pelajar dan mahasiswa.
WNI yang tinggal di Jepang juga aktif berkolaborasi dengan KBRI Tokyo dan KJRI Osaka.
KBRI menegaskan bahwa hubungan Indonesia dan Jepang sudah terjalin selama 67 tahun dan berlangsung sangat baik.
Namun, beredar kabar bahwa tahun 2026 akan menjadi tahun terakhir masuknya pekerja Indonesia di Jepang.
KBRI memastikan bahwa kabar tersebut tidak benar alias hoaks karena tidak ada pernyataan resmi dari pemerintah Jepang.
Terlepas dari hal ini, WNI di Jepang diimbau untuk selalu menjaga kerukunan, menjunjung tinggi etika, serta menaati hukum yang berlaku.
Terkait aktivitas WNI yang sempat menjadi sorotan, KBRI Tokyo telah menyampaikan siaran pers pada 26 Juni 2025.
Aktivitas yang dimaksud adalah komunitas silat PSHT mengibarkan atribut organisasi di ruang publik.
Meski viral baru-baru ini, video tersebut ternyata diambil tiga tahun lalu dan PSHT cabang Jepang sudah meminta maaf.
Terakhir, KBRI Tokyo dan KJRI Osaka mengajak seluruh pihak untuk sama-sama menjaga nama baik bangsa.
