IDF juga mencatat bahwa jet-jet tempur tersebut menargetkan infrastruktur teror di wilayah Khiam di Lebanon selatan.
Selain itu, IDF berhasil mencegat target udara mencurigakan yang melintasi wilayah udara Israel dari Lebanon.
IDF lebih lanjut menyatakan bahwa sebagai tanggapan atas peringatan yang dibunyikan di Kiryat Shmona dan 15 peluncuran yang diidentifikasi melintasi Israel, artileri IDF menembaki sumber peluncuran tersebut.
Akibat serangan tersebut, sejumlah orang dilaporkan terluka.
Kantor Berita Nasional Lebanon melaporkan, Israel menargetkan beberapa lokasi di Lebanon selatan dengan fosfor putih, sehingga menyebabkan cedera, menurut badan tersebut.
Selain itu Israel menembaki kota Kfarkela dan pinggiran kota Odaisseh di Lebanon selatan dengan menggunakan amunisi fosfor.
Sebelumnya pada hari itu, badan tersebut mengatakan bahwa “sebuah drone Israel menargetkan sebuah mobil di kota al-Wazzani,"
Pengemudinya nyaris lolos dari kematian dengan melompat keluar dari mobil.
Dicatat bahwa pesawat-pesawat tempur Israel “meningkatkan serangan udara mereka, menargetkan kota al-Khiam sebanyak dua kali.”
Badan tersebut melaporkan bahwa pesawat-pesawat tempur Israel "juga menyerbu kota Yaroun di distrik Bint Jbeil pada pagi hari, mengakibatkan korban luka-luka."(*)
