A Ignoto X emerge un nuovo fronte nell’inchiesta sulle presunte anomalie legate alla prima indagine su Andrea Sempio, poi archiviata nel 2017 nell’ambito del delitto di Garlasco. Il gip di Brescia ha archiviato la posizione dell’ex procuratore aggiunto Mario Venditti, accusato di aver ricevuto denaro dalla famiglia Sempio per favorire l’archiviazione del procedimento a carico di Andrea. Dagli accertamenti, però, non sarebbero emerse tracce di denaro arrivato a Venditti né contatti tra il magistrato e la famiglia Sempio al di fuori delle sedi istituzionali. L’archiviazione di Venditti non chiude il filone sulla presunta corruzione. Secondo quanto emerge dalle motivazioni del gip, l’ipotesi di un eventuale accordo illecito potrebbe riguardare altri soggetti. Gli atti sono stati quindi trasmessi alla Procura di Pavia, dove proseguiranno gli accertamenti.
