Sejumlah orang tampak menaiki monumen dan memasang spanduk bertuliskan slogan-slogan kemenangan.
Beberapa di antaranya juga membentangkan bendera Palestina dan poster berisi seruan untuk menghentikan genosida.
Ternyata, koalisi sayap kiri Prancis sebelumnya pernah berjanji akan mengakui negara Palestina.
Hal ini tentu menjadi kabar gembira bagi pendukung Palestina di negara tersebut.
"Saya tidak berani mempercayainya! Itulah Prancisku!," teriak massa, dikutip dari Humanite, Selasa (9/7/2024).
Adapun kemenangan koalisi sayap kiri dalam pemilu Prancis merupakan momen bersejarah.
Mereka berhasil merebut kursi parlemen terbanyak pada pemilu putaran kedua yang selama ini dikuasai koalisi sayap kanan.
