Squid Game themes on 456 instruments | ft. Thomann
This was the most difficult and complex video I’ve ever made in my entire YouTube journey – but it’s also the best one I’ve ever created. Squid Game played on 456 instruments — one for each player! How many world records do you think I broke? This video was made possible thanks to Hans Thomann, who not only allowed me to film inside his incredible store, but also welcomed me and treated me like a member of his big family.
It was truly an honor to meet him in person – I grew up with his instruments, and if young David had known he would meet him one day, he wouldn’t have believed it!
I also want to thank all the employees at the store, who were very kind and helpful during the entire recording session.
A big thank you goes to Karim, Saskia, and their team for believing in this project.
And of course, a huge shoutout to my friend Mimmo (IG: mimmo__parisi) the camera guy. In the video, I’m the one wearing green pants and a white t-shirt – but in some shots, that’s actually him!
Since I knew we’d have very limited time to record everything (only about 24–25 working hours), I came prepared: I brought a matching outfit for him so he could step in and help.
On the last day, when I realized I wouldn't be able to record everything, he recorded the drums and some percussion while I recorded the last instruments – wearing the same clothes so we could keep everything consistent on camera. Without him, I never would’ve managed to finish in time!
One quick note: I apologize if the audio quality isn’t perfect – the store was full of people 😊

A quick note about the music:
I pitch-shifted a few instruments that were originally in different keys – especially the didgeridoos – to make them fit into the arrangements I had prepared. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
