Pelaku adalah suami korban bernama Elvis Adri.
Kapolres Kuansing AKBP Angga F Herlambang mengatakan pelaku ditangkap di Kelurahan Muara Lembu, Kecamatan Singingi.
Pihaknya memburu pelaku menggunakan drone.
Elvis yang merupakan PNS di Dinas Inspektorat Kabupaten Kuansing, ditangkap setelah bersembunyi di semak-semak di Muara Lembu.
Bahkan ia memakan dedaunan untuk mengganjal lapar selama bersembunyi.
Juniwarti dibunuh di rumahnya pada Senin pagi (24/2/2025).
Salah seorang tetangganya berinisial Y mengaku tak melihat kejanggalan di rumah korban.
Y mengatakan saat ia mengantar isterinya kerja pada pukul 06.30 WIB
Pagi itu pintu dan pagar rumah tertutup rapat.
Namun suami korban yang biasanya sudah berada di halaman tak terlihat.
Sementara warga lainnya yang juga tak ingin disebutkan namanya mengatakan bahwa ia mendengar teriakan dari anak laki-laki korban yang berinisial Z (15).
Z yang masih duduk di bangku kelas dua SMA itu teriak minta tolong.
Saat W ke rumah Juniwarti, W sudah melihat seorang perawat yang mengecek kondisi Juniwarti.
W melihat Juniwarti sudah tak sadarkan diri dengan luka parah di leher.
Sementara Elvis Adri yang merupakan suami Juniwarti tak terlihat di rumah tersebut.(*)
