Media asal China itu juga mengutip pernyataan seorang peneliti senior di Pusat Penelitian Indo-Pasifik di Universitas Murdoch di Perth, Ian Wilson.
Ia mengatakan sejumlah pihak khawatir terkait kesehatan Prabowo hingga dan kapasitasnya untuk memerintah Indonesia selama lima tahun ke depan.
Jika Prabowo tidak mampu menyelesaikan masa jabatannya selama lima tahun, maka Gibran yang berusia 36 tahun akan menggantikan Prabowo.
"Hal ini diperburuk oleh kurangnya pengalaman wakil presiden terpilih, yang secara otomatis akan menjadi presiden jika tidak ada Prabowo," tambahnya.
