Nữ tài xế gây tai nạn có thể phải chịu trách nhiệm hình sự về tội Vi phạm quy định về tham gia giao thông đường bộ, theo quy định tại Điều 260 Bộ Luật hình sự 2015, sửa đổi, bổ sung năm 2017. Mức độ cụ thể còn phải căn cứ vào kết quả điều tra, xác minh, giám định thương tật của các nạn nhân; định giá các tài sản bị hư hỏng trong vụ tai nạn.
