Premier Padel Buenos Aires reached the women’s quarterfinals stage and the action definitely delivered.

Only three matches were played after the quarterfinal clash between Brea/Triay and Martínez/Pérez ended in a walkover due to injuries suffered by Lucía Martínez and Águeda Pérez, sending Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea directly into the semifinals.

In the remaining matches, Fernández/Araújo battled back after losing the opening set to defeat Icardo and Jensen in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. The Spanish-Portuguese duo showed great determination to secure their semifinal spot.

Another thrilling encounter featured Spanish stars Josemaría/González against Salazar and Alonso de Villa. After an intense three-set battle, Josemaría and González claimed victory 5-7, 6-2, 6-2.

To close out the day, the Spanish pair Sánchez and Ustero Prieto had no trouble advancing, dominating Ortega and Calvo Santamaría in straight sets 6-0, 6-2.
