Kerusuhan tersebut memanas setelah Presiden Amerika Serikat Donald Trump mengerahkan sekitar 2.000 personel Garda Nasional untuk meredam massa.
Massa demo dan personel Garda Nasional bentrok panas hingga membakar sejumlah mobil.
Kerusuhan itu bermula dari penggeledahan imigran yang dilakukan petugas Imigrasi dan Bea Cukai pada Jumat (6/6) kemarin.
Keadaan makin memanas terjadi di luar saat kerumunan orang mencoba menghalangi petugas untuk pergi.
Penggeledahan itu mengakibatkan penangkapan terhadap 118 imigran.
Penangkapan ratusan imigran itu mengakibatkan puluhan pengunjuk rasa berkumpul di luar pusat penahanan federal Los Angeles.
Mereka menuntut pembebasan para imigran yang ditahan di tempat tersebut.
Aksi unjuk rasa itu terus berlanjut hingga Minggu (8/6), sampai akhirnya Trump mengerahkan pasukan Garda Nasional untuk meredam massa.
Namun keputusan Trump tersebut justru membuat pendemo makin marah dan melakukan kerusuhan dengan membakar mobil. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
