Ketua PBNU Dukung Libur Ramadan Sebulan tapi Semua Siswa Harus Tetap Aktif | News Flash
Ketua umum pengurus besar nahdlatul ulama, pbnu, Kyai Haji Yahya Kholil Staquf, setuju wacana libur ramadan sebulan penuh. Namun Yahya meminta pemerintah juga memperhatikan siswa non muslim atau nonis, agar ada kegiatan selama libur ramadan (17/1).Pernyataan ini disampaikan ketua umum pbnu, Kyai Haji Yahya Kholil Staquf, usai menghadiri acara kick off harlah nu ke-102 di kantor pwnu Jatim. Menurut Gus Yahya, rencana pemerintah meliburkan sekolah satu bulan penuh selama ramadan boleh-boleh saja, asal ada kajian mendalam sebelum diputuskan.
Ia menekankan libur ramadan harus berdampak baik pada semua siswa termasuk siswa non muslim. Pemerintah tidak cukup hanya mengumumkan kebijakan libur tanpa merancang panduan kegiatan yang jelas bagi seluruh siswa, sehingga libur ramadan tidak menjadi momen yang sia-sia.
Ketua umum pbnu ini juga mengingatkan pemerintah, bahwa sekolah adalah tempat pendidikan lintas agama yang seharusnya mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan seluruh siswa tanpa diskriminasi.PRDO
