Seit den 1980er-Jahren steigen die Temperaturen steil an, ein Trend, der sich laut Schwanke weiter fortsetzt. Die Folgen sind bereits sichtbar: Flüsse führen immer weniger Wasser, Wiesen und Wälder trocknen aus. Als Wetterexperte schätzt er ein, dass wir uns künftig auf häufiger auftretende und intensivere Hitzeperioden sowie auf weitere Auswirkungen des Klimawandels einstellen müssen.
