TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Polres Tarakan, Kalimantan Utara diserang segerombolan orang tak dikenal, Senin (24/2/2025) malam.

Penyerangan terjadi sekira pukul 23.36 Wita.

Diduga, penyerangan ini dilakukan oleh sejumlah anggota TNI.

Kapendam VI Mulawarman, Kolonel Kav Kristiyanto mengonfirmasi kejadian tersebut.

Kepada TribunKaltim.co, Kristiyanto menuturkan pihaknya saat ini tengah melakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.

"Memang benar semalam kami mendapat informasi bahwa di Tarakan terjadi insiden antara oknum anggota TNI dengan Polri. Namun, itu masih dugaan dan saat ini sedang diperiksa lebih lanjut," ujar Kolonel Kristiyanto di Makodam IV Mulawarman, Balikpapan, Kaltim, Selasa (25/2/2025).

Ia mengatakan, mereka yang diduga terlibat dalam penyerangan tersebut juga telah dipanggil dan diperiksa.

"Kami masih melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut. Hasilnya akan kami informasikan kemudian," tambahnya.

Kristiyanto juga menuturkan bahwa pihaknya masih belum mengetahui motif dari penyerangan ini.

Ia hanya menyinggung soal adanya salah paham antara dua pihak di masa lalu.

"Belum (motifnya) belum tahu, karena ini kan masih penyelidikan, yang jelas itu kemungkinan ada kaitannya dengan kesalahpahaman yang dulu-dulu," Ujarnya.
