El Senado de EE.UU. avanza en acuerdo histórico para reabrir el gobierno

El lunes 10 de noviembre, el Senado de Estados Unidos retomó sesiones después de votar la noche anterior para avanzar un acuerdo bipartidista que permitiría reabrir el gobierno tras el cierre más largo de la historia, con 41 días de paralización.
El pacto contempla financiamiento temporal para la mayoría de agencias federales hasta el 30 de enero, así como fondos anuales para agricultura, asuntos de veteranos y construcción militar.
Incluye una garantía de votación en diciembre sobre la extensión de subsidios del Affordable Care Act, la reincorporación y el pago retroactivo a empleados federales afectados, y la continuación del programa SNAP de asistencia alimentaria. El acuerdo aún debe superar otras votaciones en ambas cámaras para entrar en vigor.
