Joe Biden mengakui seorang Zionis atau pendukung Zionisme alias gerakan pendirian negara bangsa Yahudi.
“Anda tidak perlu menjadi seorang Yahudi agar menjadi Zionis,” kata Biden dikutip dari The New Arab.
Diketahui, Biden memang telah lama mendukung sekutunya, Israel.
Terbukti dengan banyaknya bantuan senjata dan amunisi lainnya yang dikirimkan ke Israel untuk menyerang di Jalur Gaza.
Bersamaan dengan pernyataan tersebut, Biden juga mengklaim telah memberikan banyak bantuan terhadap masyarakat Palestina.
“melakukan lebih banyak bagi masyarakat Palestina dibandingkan dengan siapa pun”.
Bahkan, ia juga mengaku sebagai orang yang bisa menyatukan semua negara-negara Arab.
Yakni, agar setuju untuk membantu warga Palestina dengan mendapatkan makanan dan tempat berlindung.
Atas hal itu, pernyataan Joe Biden banyak disebut janggal terkait konflik yang terjadi antara Israel-Palestina.
