Frauen im Gefängnis sind eine Minderheit: Nur etwa fünf Prozent der Inhaftierten in Deutschland sind Frauen — die Mehrheit von ihnen Mütter. Und sie werden anders beurteilt als inhaftierte Väter. „Bei Männern heißt es: typisch Männer. Bei Frauen: Du hast Blödsinn gemacht, ohne an dein Kind zu denken." Das sagt Olga, 3,5 Jahre Haft, alleinerziehend.Reporterin Shalin Rogall hat über ein halbes Jahr drei Mütter in der JVA Köln-Ossendorf begleitet: Claudia, die als Influencerin ein Luxusleben zeigte und wegen gewerblichen Betrugs sitzt. Sophia, deren Jüngste sechs Monate alt war, als sie verhaftet wurde. Und Olga, deren Sohn in einer Wohngruppe lebt und ihr sagt, er sei froh über seine Freunde — sonst wäre er so allein wie sie.
