Upacara itu digelar di Beirut, Lebanon, Minggu (23/2/2025).
Tampak ribuan pelayat membawa bendera Hizbullah dan menangis saat peti jenazah dibawa ke tempat peristirahatan terakhir.
Acara dimulai dengan pembacaan ayat suci Al-Qur'an dan lagu kebangsaan Lebanon serta Hizbullah.
Terlihat gambar besar kedua tokoh dipasang di sekitar lokasi pemakaman.
Adapun perwakilan dari 79 negara turut hadir, termasuk tokoh dari Iran, Irak, dan Yaman.
Setelah upacara, jenazah Hassan Nasrallah dibawa ke pemakaman dekat Bandara Internasional Rafik Hariri.
Mengutip Tribunnews, jenazah Hashem Safieddine dijadwalkan dimakamkan Senin (24/2/2025) di kampung halamannya, Deir Qanoun al-Nahr.
Sementara itu, Sekjen Hizbullah, Naim Qassem mengatakan Safieddine terpilih menggantikan Nasrallah sebelum tewas dalam serangan Israel.
