Saat tiba di depan gedung, massa menyoraki DPR dan aparat kepolisian.
Ribuan mahasiswa ini tergabung dalam aksi bertajuk #RakyatTagihJanji.
Mereka berasal dari Universitas Indonesia (UI) dan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
Sebelumnya, massa melakukan long march dari depan Gedung TVRI di Jalan Gerbang Pemuda sambil berorasi.
Mereka tampak mengenakan almamater masing-masing.
Ketua BEM UI 2025, Atan terlihat menaiki mobil komando dan berorasi.
Dalam orasinya, Atan menuding DPR tidak pernah sungguh-sungguh mendengarkan aspirasi rakyat.
Ia lantas mengajak massa menyoraki anggota dewan.
"Sorak huuu kepada mereka!" teriak Atan sambil menunjuk ke arah Gedung DPR.
Seruan itu pun disambut riuh sorakan massa aksi.
Selain itu, Atan juga menyinggung tindakan represif aparat kepolisian yang mewarnai gelombang aksi mahasiswa sejak Agustus lalu.
Pasalnya, akibat dugaan kekerasan yang dilakukan aparat saat mengawal demonstrasi, ada sejumlah orang yang meninggal.
Sejumlah massa selanjutnya meneriakkan kecaman langsung ke arah aparat.
"Huuu! Pembunuh rakyat!" teriak mereka serentak.
