JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Menteri Koordinator Hukum, HAM, Imigrasi, dan Pemasyarakatan, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, menegaskan pemberian abolisi dan amnesti kepada mantan Menteri Perdagangan Tom Lembong dan Sekjen PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto sudah sesuai ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan.Menurut Yusril, keputusan Presiden Prabowo memberikan abolisi dan amnesti kepada Tom Lembong dan Hasto sesuai dengan ketentuan UUD 1945 dan Undang-Undang Darurat Nomor 11 Tahun 1954.
Prosedur yang dilalui pun dinilai sudah benar, yakni melalui persetujuan dengan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat. Dengan demikian, akibat hukum dari tindak pidana yang dilakukan Hasto dan Tom Lembong dihapuskan.
