How to install a DIY water softener, filters, and RO in your house!

We got a quote for $4000 to install a water softener and sedimentary filter. So we decided to install our own water filtration system to save some money and get exactly what we wanted. We installed a water softener, sedimentary, reverse osmosis system, and UV filter for less than the quote for just the basics.

If you have hard water, a water softener is going to be a game changer. The Reverse Osmosis system will be next level for getting clean water. The UV filter is great for eliminating bacteria if your well isn't shocked on a regular basis, and the sedimentary filter keeps all the bigger particles out of the house.

As far as electrical goes, the softener plugs right into a normal outlet, so you don't need to do any electrical. For plumbing, invest in some Pex tools on Amazon and get tubing at your local hardware store.
