Das forderte der US-Präsident auf seiner Social-Media-Plattform Truth Social. Es sei ein Wunder, dass die First Lady und er beim abrupten Stopp auf der Rolltreppe nicht auf die scharfen Kanten der Treppe gefallen seien. Wenig später war ja der Teleprompter von Trump zu Beginn seiner Rede rund 15 Minuten lang ausgefallen. Außerdem sei der Ton bei seiner Ansprache im Auditorium fehlerhaft gewesen. Trump vermutet Sabotage und fordert die Verhaftung der Verantwortlichen.
