En Canadá denuncian agravamiento de la crisis cubana
ÚNETE www.youtube.com/eltoquecom/joinDurante una intervención ante el Parlamento de Canadá, un senador advirtió sobre el profundo deterioro económico y social que atraviesa Cuba, calificándolo como una crisis humanitaria que se ha intensificado hasta niveles sin precedentes. En su discurso, señaló que tras más de seis décadas sin apertura democrática, la población enfrenta escasez de alimentos, restricciones a las libertades civiles y un creciente clima de represión contra quienes expresan descontento o reclaman mejores condiciones de vida.
El legislador también cuestionó el impacto real del turismo internacional en la isla, afirmando que buena parte de los ingresos generados no llega directamente a los ciudadanos, sino a estructuras estatales y militares. En ese contexto, llamó a gobiernos y empresas extranjeras a replantear sus relaciones económicas con Cuba y a respaldar de manera más directa a la sociedad civil y al sector privado emergente, insistiendo en que el pueblo cubano merece libertad, dignidad y oportunidades tras décadas de crisis estructural.
