Pernyataan ini disampaikan Ali Khamenei dalam pidato perdananya sejak gencatan senjata Iran- Israel, Selasa (24/6).
Menurutnya, Iran telah memberi tamparan keras ke Amerika Serikat.
"Saya ingin mengucapkan selamat kepada negara Iran yang hebat atas kemenangannya atas rezim Zionis yang sesat," kata Khamenei.
Dalam pidatonya, Khamenei mengakui Amerika Serikat menyerang fasilitas nuklir Iran,.
Namun, menurutnya serangan pasukan Donald Trump itu tidak mencapai banyak hal.
Terkini, Ali Khamenei memperingatkan militer Amerika Serikat.
Menurut Khamenei, setiap agresi di masa mendatang terhadap Iran akan menimbulkan kerugian besar.
Selain itu, Iran memiliki kemampuan yang berpotensi menyerang pangkalan militer utama AS di Timur Tengah.
Menurutnya serangan yang menargetkan pangkalan militer AS merupakan pencapaian yang luar biasa.
Khamenei menekankan, akan mengulan menyerang jika agresi diperbarui seusai Teheran menargetkan pangkalan udara al-Ubeid di Qatar awal pekan ini.
Atas keberaniannya itu, pihaknya yakin Iran tak akan menyerah ke Amerika Serikat.
