Some women feel they are a princess and deserve princess treatment from their husband. Now this is fine and dandy as long as a wife is doing her part to treat her husband with the utmost respect, as the leader of the home. Sadly, many times this is not the case. Many times, women, even Christian women, are treating their husbands like dirt while still demanding princess treatment.Christian women, where is this in the Bible?
When a husband and wife come together, they form a bond under God. This Christian marriage now has the opportunity to grow and maneuver through life representing the grace and mercy Jesus Christ our Lord. This Christian marriage also has the opportunity to honor and respect each other in the roles God has given us to fill.
In marriage, Christianity has called the wife to be a submissive wife and the husband to be the leader of the home 1 Corinthians 11:3.
The Bible defines love as patient, kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
So, as man and woman, husband and wife, we must ask ourselves, is our behavior in our marriage, our Christian marriage, our Catholic marriage, representing these traits?
Women and wives, do you rejoice in the truth? Women and wives, do you thank your husband for sharing the truth with you when your behavior is out of line? Women and wives, is your behavior self-seeking or do you look to honor your marriage before your own ego? Women and wives, do you keep record of wrong doings?
Christian women, stop being modern women and step into your biblical role of a wife. Become a submissive wife who honors her husband's masculinity. Allow your husband to lead you. Stop being a modern woman. If you take any relationship advice, it would be to follow the Bible and follow Christianity and become a submissive wife.
Your husband's masculinity is very important for you and for him. Stop tearing him down. Women say they want a leader, in a husband, but they do everything in their power to dominate him and take away his masculinity.
The Lord Jesus Christ put the man in charge of the home and calls the woman to be a submissive wife.
Don't you think it's about time you start honoring what God is calling you to do?
Being a submissive wife, means you are showing God you have faith in Him. Obedience to Jesus Christ is being a submissive wife, no matter your preferences. A Christian wife will honor God by showing obedience to her husband.
How many more ways can I say this?
