Ketua Badan Anggaran DPR RI, Said Abdullah, mengatakan hal tersebut lantaran anggaran untuk IKN akan selalu ada dan sifatnya fluktuatif dengan kemungkinan bisa bertambah.
Bahkan menurut Ketua DPP PDIP tersebut, jika merujuk pada kekuatan fiskal Indonesia di tahun 2026, maka dimungkinkan akan ada kenaikan anggaran di tahun mendatang untuk IKN.
Meski anggaran untuk IKN disebut akan naik, Said Abdullah tidak membeberkan secara detail berapa besaran anggaran yang akan dialokasikan untuk kelanjutan proyek pembangunan ibu kota negara Indonesia tersebut.
Namun ia memastikan bahwa jika melihat kekuatan fiskal Indonesia pada tahun 2026, kemungkinan akan ada kenaikan anggaran untuk otorita IKN.
Dengan hal tersebut, Said lantas menegaskan bahwa pembangunan IKN tidak akan mangkrak. Terlebih undang-undang telah mengatur soal proyek pembangunan IKN menjadi ibu kota negara.
