Meirav, maman d’Agam Berger, évoque ce qui a fait tenir sa fille malgré les conditions extrêmes de détention : le respect du Chabbath et des jeûnes, le refus de consommer de la viande, et sa demande au ‘Hamas de récupérer un Sidour oublié sur place par les soldats de Tsahal. Malgré la décision des ravisseurs de la libérer un Chabbath, la Providence lui a permis, conformément à son souhait, de sortir en semaine.Convaincue d’un miracle, Meirav exhorte toutes les femmes à respecter la pureté familiale et à prendre sur elles une Mitsva : "une action ici pouvant déclencher un prodige là-bas".
Agam remercie la communauté française : “Je sais que vous avez beaucoup agi et prié pour mon retour. Vous avez une part importante dans ce chemin qui m’a ramenée, et c’est aussi grâce à vous que je suis ici aujourd’hui. Je vous demande de ne pas arrêter. Continuez à prier et à agir pour la libération de tous nos otages, jusqu’au dernier. C’est notre devoir juif, moral et humain à chacun d’entre nous.”
