Hamás manifiesta su disposición a reanudar las conversaciones para un alto el fuego en la Franja de Gaza durante una reunión con mediadores egipcios en El Cairo.Sin embargo, la violencia en la zona aún continúa. Las autoridades sanitarias locales informan de al menos 100 palestinos muertos, después de los bombardeos israelíes en el norte de la Ciudad de Gaza en las últimas 24 horas, mientras Israel avanza para tomarla por completo. El núcleo del plan para la siguiente fase de operaciones del ejército israelí busca eliminar los últimos bastiones de Hamás en la ciudad y en el campo de refugiados de Al-Mawasi.
