AfD und BSW wollen am Mittwoch im Magdeburger Landtag einen gemeinsamen Antrag beraten lassen. Beide Parteien fordern, die Sanktionen gegen Russland auszusetzen. Die Landesregierung soll dazu eine Initiative im Bundesrat starten. Ulrich Siegmund und die AfD fordern zudem, keine Waffen und kein Geld mehr für die Ukraine bereitzustellen. Michael Kretschmer kritisiert den bisherigen Ukrainekurs. Der sächsische Ministerpräsident fordert mehr Diplomatie. Das BSW begründet den Vorstoß mit den Kosten des Krieges. Die Bundesregierung hält dagegen an Unterstützung und Druck fest. Sie verweist auf die jüngsten Angriffe auf die Ukraine und auf getötete Zivilisten. Der Kurs müsse konsequent fortgesetzt werden. Ulrich Siegmund will sich im Dezember zum Ministerpräsidenten wählen lassen. Das BSW kündigt dafür Enthaltung an.
