Dalam unggahan tersebut, peretas menyebarkan ujaran antisemit, rasisme, serta menghina Presiden AS Donald Trump.
Dilansir dari The Times Of Israel, Senin (14/7), salah satu unggahan berisi pembunuhan terhadap orang Yahudi dan menyebut Trump sebagai boneka Netanyahu.
Pihak Sesame segera mengambil alih kembali akun dengan hampir 650.000 pengikut itu.
Seluruh unggahan ofensif, termasuk yang mempromosikan kripto dan teori konspirasi, telah dihapus.
Mereka menyebut peretasan ini sebagai tindakan menjijikkan dan tengah berupaya pemulihan kendali penuh.
Insiden ini terjadi hanya beberapa hari setelah chatbot AI Grok milik Elon Musk juga memicu kontroversi dengan unggahan anti-Yahudi.
Grok memuji Hitler dan menyarankan Yahudi dikirim ke kamp, sebelum akhirnya kontennya dihapus.
Liga Anti-Pencemaran Nama Baik mengecam keras kejadian ini sebagai tindakan berbahaya dan tak bertanggung jawab.
Unggahan Elmo juga dikaitkan dengan teori konspirasi seputar Jeffrey Epstein dan Trump.
