The US-Iran ceasefire has collapsed. Iran struck three commercial vessels near the Strait of Hormuz this week. The US responded with over 80 strikes on Iranian targets, including sites near Bushehr, home to Iran’s only civilian nuclear power plant. Iran retaliated by striking US facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain. Iran’s military warned that any country enabling US strikes would be a legitimate target. Oil prices jumped five per cent.
