Belonging & Belief: The Identity Paradox in Misinformation | Carolin-Theresa Ziemer | TEDxSaarbrigge
Why do we believe misinformation? Often, it’s not about facts—it’s about identity. In her TEDx talk, Dr. Carolin Ziemer explores how belonging can outweigh truth and shares three strategies to build resilience: inoculation, empathy, and identity building. Identities can make us vulnerable—but they can also help us resist.
