Sono conclusi i lavori per l’allargamento e riqualificazione del sottopasso ferroviario lungo via di Corticella. Dopo due mesi e mezzo di lavoro per costruire il nuovo manufatto, accanto al sottopasso esistente, nella serata di mercoledì 11 marzo era iniziato l’intervento per la rimozione delle rotaie e la demolizione del vecchio ponte, a cui è seguita la «spinta» del nuovo manufatto al posto di quello demolito. In queste ore, fino alla mattina del 19 marzo, le squadre di Rfi si occuperanno del ripristino delle rotaie mentre sotto il ponte si inizierà a lavorare per garantire la nuova funzionalità del sottopasso, destinato a ospitare al centro la tranvia, ai lati una corsia veicolare per ciascun senso di marcia e, agli estremi della carreggiata, i percorsi ciclopedonali.Si tratta di una delle opere strutturali più delicate e impegnative legate alla Linea Verde del tram: in pochi giorni il nuovo monoblocco in calcestruzzo da 3400 tonnellate è stato spinto sostituendo il ponte ferroviario di Corticella demolito.
