Eine 10-tägige Konferenz der Vereinten Nationen in Genf endete ergebnislos, obwohl eine Mehrheit von etwa 100 Staaten eine Einigung wollte. Die UNO will den gesamten Kunststoff-Kreislauf von der Produktion bis zum Abfallmanagement regulieren.
