Rapat Bahas RUU Contempt of Court, Tegaskan Pentingnya Jaga Marwah Peradilan MA NEWS
KOMPAS.TV - Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia menggelar rapat kickoff pembahasan rancangan Undang-Undang tentang Contempt of Court pada 3-5 Juli 2025 di Jakarta.Agenda ini menjadi langkah awal dalam menyiapkan, menyusun, dan melakukan kajian mendalam terhadap rancangan peraturan penting tersebut sebelum dibahas lebih lanjut di DPR.
Acara dibuka secara langsung oleh Juru Bicara Mahkamah Agung, Hakim Agung Yanto. Dalam sambutannya, Hakim Agung Yanto bilang urgensi pengaturan tentang penghinaan terhadap peradilan atau Contempt of Court dibahas dengan tujuan menjaga wibawa lembaga peradilan di masyarakat.
Yanto menekankan untuk menjaga marwah peradilan tidak cukup hanya menjaga martabat hakim tanpa diikuti martabat proses peradilan itu sendiri.
Proses peradilan adalah perjuangan yang harus dijaga agar tetap tertib.
