Ucraina, Fazzolari: "Governo non ha cambiato rotta per seguire Trump, ma no a soldati Ue al confine"
La Zecca dello Stato ha ottenuto 500mila euro dalla vendita delle medaglie coniate per celebrare la resistenza ucraina contro l’invasione russa. L’importo è stato devoluto all’associazione ucraina Unbroken Kids, che si occupa dell’assistenza fisica e psicologica di bambini e minori che hanno subito traumi di guerra. A margine della cerimonia di consegna del ricavato, a Roma, il sottosegretario alla presidenza del Consiglio e braccio destro della premier Meloni Giovanbattista Fazzolari ha fatto il punto sulla situazione del conflitto ucraino e sulla posizione del governo italiano, nei giorni in cui il presidente Usa Donald Trump ha deciso di interloquire direttamente con l’omologo russo Vladimir Putin, per arrivare a una cessazione delle ostilità. Nel caso venisse raggiunto un accordo, il presidente francese Macron ha suggerito la possibilità di dispiegare truppe europee sul confine russoucraino per garantire la sicurezza di Kiev, ma Fazzolari a nome dell’esecutivo italiano boccia l’idea: “non c’è mai stata una forza di interposizione internazionale tra due eserciti di questa portata.
