Adapun video pelaku penembakan terkapar diunggah oleh warga AS yang berada di sekitar lokasi.
Meski begitu, pemerintah Washington ataupun tim kampanye Trump belum buka suara terkait identitas pelaku.
Dikutip dari Tribun Jabar, video itu diunggah oleh akun X @hoje_no pada Minggu (14/7).
Rekaman berdurasi 14 detik itu memperlihatkan seseorang yang terbaring di atap sebuah gedung.
Saat gambar didekatkan, terlihat samar-samar sosok tersebut menggunakan sepatu bot dan baju kamuflase.
Diduga sosok tersebut tewas lantaran tidak bergerak sama sekali.
Adapun sosok itu diduga sebagai sniper yang melancarkan aksinya ke Donald Trump.
Kemudian, di video yang berbeda terlihat tangkapan layar foto satelit Butler Farm Show Grounds tempat Trump kampanye.
Ia menandai satu titik tempat jasad yang diduga penembak jitu itu tewas.
Dari gambar itu terlihat garis lurus yang menghubungkan dengan titik podium Donald Trump.
Kemungkinan jarak antara pelaku dan Trump sekira 100 meter.
Namun hingga saat ini, belum ada infromasi mengenai identitas pelaku penembakan Donald Trump.
Sementara di video yang berbeda terlihat tim keamanan bersiap siaga di atas atap.
Sehingga saat Trump ditembak, tim keamanan pun langsung menembak pelaku.
Identitas pelaku penembakan terhadap Donlad Trump terungkap.
Dilansir dari AP News, pelaku diduga bernama Thomas Matthew Crooks pria berusia 20 tahun.
Kabar itu dibenarkan oleh Biro Penyelidikan Federal Amerika Serikat (FBI) pada Minggu (14/7).
Crooks merupakan warga Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
Pelaku menembak Trump dari atap sebuah pabrik yang berjarak sekitar 150 meter dari lokasi kampanye.
Berdasarkan data daftar pemilih Pennsylvania, Crooks merupakan seorang pendukung Partai Republik.
Partai Republik merupakan partai pengusung Trump dalam ajang Pilpres.
Namun meski terdaftar sebagai pemilih Partai Republik, tetapi catatan laporan keuangan kampanye federal memperlihatkan ia pernah memberikan uang sebesar Rp 241 ribu di tahun 2021 ketika Presiden Joe Biden dilantik.
Uang tersebut diberikan ke Act Blue yang merupakan grup untuk mendukung kandidat dari Partai Demokrat.
Sementara Partai Demokrat sendiri mengusung Biden dalam Pilpres Amerika Serikat mendatang.
Sehingga kecenderungan politik dari pelaku penembakan Trump itu masih belum jelas.
FBI masih melakukan penyelidikan terkait insiden tersebut. (Tribun-Video.com)
