This year’s event comes one month after President Trump’s return to office, marked by a flurry of executive actions and efforts to reshape the federal government. President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak today.Hamas released five of six Israeli hostages Saturday, despite rising tensions that could threaten the ceasefire. The hostages included three men taken at the Nova music festival and another abducted while visiting family during the Oct. 7, 2023 attacks. The fifth man freed, along with the sixth set for release later, had been held for about ten years. In a separate development, the Palestinian Mujahedeen Brigades returned a second body Friday night, which Israeli authorities confirmed to be Shiri Bibas.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy holds a news conference on the eve of the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, following the conclusion of the "Ukraine. Year 2025" forum, which was attended by heads of state institutions.
