(LaPresse) Lacrime e abbracci a Crans-Montana, dove centinaia di persone si sono ritrovate per rendere omaggio alle giovani vittime del rogo di Capodanno. Una processione silenziosa ed emozionata ha attraversato la via principale della stazione sciistica deponendo fiori e candele in un memoriale a cui hanno partecipato anche vigili del fuoco e gente del posto. Una delle vittime era il sedicenne Arthur Brodard, la cui madre Laetitia lo stava cercando freneticamente. Sopraffatta dal dolore, la donna ha stretto un funzionario della sicurezza e lo ha ringraziato prima di crollare. I residenti locali hanno descritto una comunità che lotta per elaborare la tragedia. Quaranta persone sono morte e 119 sono rimaste ferite nell'incendio scoppiato giovedì intorno all'1.30 al bar Le Constellation. La polizia ha detto che molte delle vittime erano tra l'adolescenza e la metà dei vent'anni. Domenica mattina le autorità svizzere hanno identificato 24 dei 40 morti. Si tratta di 18 cittadini svizzeri di età compresa tra 14 e 31 anni, due italiani di 16 anni, uno con doppia cittadinanza italiana ed emiratina anche di 16 anni, un rumeno di 18 anni, un francese di 39 anni e un cittadino turco di 18 anni.
