De periodista a “gusano”: familiar de mercenario abatido en Venezuela insulta a Mario Pentón
El influencer cubanoamericano Alex Otaola analiza una tensa llamada protagonizada por el periodista Mario Pentón, quien intentó dar voz a familiares de mercenarios cubanos que operaban en Venezuela protegiendo a Nicolás Maduro. La conversación termina en insultos, descalificaciones y una palabra recurrente: “gusano”.Durante la llamada, la esposa de uno de los mercenarios abatidos describe a su marido como “buen padre, buen esposo” y deja entrever orgullo por su rol militar. Para Otaola, el punto clave no es el dolor humano, sino la complicidad moral: familias que justifican, encubren o financian a quienes reprimen pueblos enteros no pueden alegar inocencia.
El activista critica la postura conciliadora de Pentón y lanza una advertencia clara: con el castrismo y sus satélites no hay diálogo posible. Cuando el periodista se identifica, la reacción es inmediata: insultos, desprecio y odio ideológico, demostrando que no buscan verdad, sino silencio.
Como presidente de la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista, Otaola concluye que quien rompe con el sistema merece respeto, incluso si viene de una familia militar. Pero quien justifica, defiende o sostiene económicamente a un represor se convierte en parte activa del problema. Para él, esta llamada no es un accidente: es el retrato del régimen y su mentalidad.
