Geheimes Waffendepot bei Berlin entdeckt – ARD-Reporter zur möglichen Rolle Russlands
Deutsche Sicherheitsbehörden haben im vergangenen Jahr ein Versteck mit zwei Pistolen in der Nähe von Berlin entdeckt. Das berichten NDR, WDR und „Süddeutsche Zeitung“. Demnach gibt es Hinweise darauf, dass die Waffen im Auftrag russischer Geheimdienste hinterlegt wurden – möglicherweise um für von Moskau geplante Anschläge genutzt zu werden.Den Medienberichten zufolge ermittelt inzwischen der Generalbundesanwalt in dem Fall. Die Karlsruher Behörde wollte sich auf Anfrage nicht dazu äußern. Ein Tatverdächtiger soll im Herbst in Rumänien festgenommen worden sein. Der Mann könnte laut NDR, WDR und SZ das Waffenversteck im brandenburgischen Grenzgebiet zur Bundeshauptstadt angelegt haben.
Beamte hätten die zwei dort gefundenen Pistolen zunächst funktionsunfähig gemacht, das Versteck aber intakt gelassen. Die Stelle wurde demnach überwacht - allerdings ohne Erfolg. Die Täter hatten womöglich von der Entdeckung der Waffen mitbekommen und mieden daraufhin den Fundort.
