Awalnya ratusan warga ikut meramaikan kegiatan pawai karnaval tingkat kecamatan dan berjalan lancar.
Setiap perwakilan desa melakukan keliling di area lapangan menggunakan berbagai kostum diiringi kendaraan roda dua.
Namun sekira pukul 08.45 WIB terdapat roda dua yang berada di area lapangan mengendarai sepeda motor menggunakan knalpot brong.
Warga lain pun sempat menegur aksi yang dilakukan pemotor itu.
Namun pemotor tak terima dan malah mengamuk sehingga memicu warga lain yang saat kejadian sedang pawai di dalam lapangan.
Sontak adu jotos tak terhindarkan antar kelompok, sampai Babinsa dan Bhabinkamtimbas melerai kejadian.
Kanit Reskrim Polsek Sariwangi Bripka Sonny Tirtayasa menjelaskan, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian tersebut.
Kejadian langsung dipisahkan sebelum meluas dan dibawa ke desa untuk mediasi.
"Tidak ada korban jiwa karena ada Babinsa dan babinkamtibmas langsung dipisahkan dan dibawa ke desa untuk mediasi serta tidak sempat meluas kejadiannya," jelasnya.
