Los restos y objetos personales de 12 mártires de los Voluntarios del Pueblo Chino que perdieron la vida en la Guerra de Resistencia contra la Agresión de Estados Unidos y Ayuda a Corea han llegado a China tras su entrega por parte de la República de Corea. Esta es la decimotercera repatriación de este tipo desde que ambos países firmaron un acuerdo de entrega.En ese contexto, cerca de 200.000 soldados voluntarios del pueblo chino dieron su vida durante la guerra de 1950 a 1953, y muchos de ellos fueron sepultados lejos de su hogar. La República de Corea entregó los restos de los 12 mártires chinos, junto con sus pertenencias personales, a China en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Incheon, en Seúl.
