[Flächenbrand sorgt für Großeinsatz!] Einsatzfahrten Freiwillige Feuerwehr Kaltenkirchen
Hier zu sehen, sind verschiedene Einsatzfahrzeuge der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Kaltenkirchen im Rahmen eines großen Flächenbrandes.Am Freitagmittag den 08.05.2026 wurde die Feuerwehr Kaltenkirchen mit dem Stichwort FEU WALD alarmiert. Vor Ort eingetroffen stellten die Kräfte einen Flächenbrand auf ca. 500 Quadratmetern fest. Aufgrund der schlechten Wasserversorgung wurde durch das GTLF und das HLF 1 ein Pendelverkehr mit Wasser geführt. Aufgrund der engen Landstraße und fehlender Wendemöglichkeit für die Fahrzeuge, entschied man sich hier für ein eher ungewöhnliches Vorgehen. Nachdem die Fahrzeuge befüllt wurden, fuhr man die ca. 500 Meter zur Einsatzstelle rückwärts an.
Zur Unterstützung rückte die Feuerwehr Alveslohe und eine Drohne an.
Eine weitere Herausforderung für die Einsatzkräfte bestand zeitweise beim Pendelverkehr, da ein großer Schwarm Bienen um das GTLF kreiste. Dieser ist ebenfalls ab Minute 03:10 zu sehen.
Der Einsatz wurde um ca. 15:50 Uhr beendet und die Kräfte rückten wieder ein.

On Friday afternoon, May 8, 2026, the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Kaltenkirchen was dispatched with the incident code “FEU WALD” (forest fire). Upon arrival, crews discovered a vegetation fire covering approximately 500 square meters. Due to the poor water supply situation, a water shuttle operation was established using the GTLF and HLF 1 vehicles. Because of the narrow country road and the lack of a suitable turning area for the apparatus, the crews decided on a rather unusual tactic: after refilling the vehicles with water, they reversed the approximately 500 meters back to the scene.
To support the operation, the Feuerwehr Alveslohe and a drone unit were also dispatched.
Another challenge for the emergency crews during the water shuttle operation was a large swarm of bees circling around the GTLF. This can also be seen at minute 03:20.
