(LaPresse) Il mosaico del toro rampante della Galleria Vittorio Emanuele Il, uno dei simboli di Milano, è oggetto di restauro. A causa della continua giravolta con il tallone dei turisti che visitano la città, le tessere rosa che compongono i suoi genitali vengono consumate formando un piccolo cratere. «È una tradizione che risale all'Ottocento. Periodicamente però va rifatto il mosaico, l'ultima volta lo abbiamo fatto nel 2017. Continuiamo a farlo per tenere questo spazio bello a disposizione di tutti», ha detto Marco Granelli, assessore alle Opere pubbliche di Milano. «Sono passati nove anni dall'ultimo restauro, credo che sia un lasso di tempo troppo lungo, andrebbe fatto con un lasso di tempo un po' più corto in modo tale da intervenire meno sul disegno del mosaico», ha affermato Gianluca Galli, restauratore in materiali lapidei con un'esperienza ventennale in questo settore, che si sta occupando della rimessa a nuovo dell'opera.
