L'Irlanda sembra vivere un miracolo economico senza precedenti: un PIL pro capite di oltre 100.000 dollari (quasi il triplo dell'Italia!) e una crescita da capogiro. Ma è tutto vero o siamo di fronte al più grande miraggio finanziario d'Europa?In questo video smontiamo, pezzo dopo pezzo, il "Bluff del PIL". Scopriremo come le grandi multinazionali usano l'arbitraggio fiscale per spostare miliardi di euro di profitti sull'isola, gonfiando artificialmente i dati economici reali. Un fenomeno così estremo che l'economista Paul Krugman lo ha definito "Leprechaun Economics" (l'economia dei folletti).
La parte più incredibile? Questi dati falsati vengono utilizzati dalla Banca Centrale Europea (BCE) per decidere le politiche monetarie che influenzano la vita di tutti noi.
