Dirkrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Wira Satya Triputra dalam rilis pada Jumat (14/6/2024) mengatakan, tersangka Hendra Kasino nekat merampok karena kebutuhan ekonomi.
Namun tak dijelaskan kebutuhan ekonomi apa yang mendesaknya sehingga nekat melakukan kejahatan.
Diketahui perampokan ini terjadi pada Sabtu (8/6/2024) lalu dan dilakukan seorang diri oleh Hendra.
Untuk melancarkan aksinya, Hendra sempat survei lokasi sebanyak tiga kali dengan berpura-pura sebagai pembeli.
Hal tersebut pula yang membuat Hendra berani beraksi seorang diri karena mengetahui situasi toko.
Polisi memastikan Hendra tak terpengaruh narkoba ataupun minuman keras saat beraksi.
Total Hendra membawa kabur 18 jam tangan mewah merek Rolex, Patek Phillipe, dan Audemars Piguet.
Akibat perampokan ini, pemilik toko mengalami kerugian hingga RP 12,85 miliar.
