Pemecatan terhadap Wahyudin disampaikan oleh Ketua DPP PDIP Bidang Kehormatan, Komarudin Watubun seusai menerima laporan dari DPD PDIP Gorontalo.
Dalam keterangannya pada Sabtu (20/9), Komarudin mengatakan bahwa DPD PDIP Gorontalo telah melakukan klarifikasi terhadap Wahyudin.
DPD pun menyampaikan permohonan pada DPP untuk dilakukan penindakan.
Menurut Komarudin, setelah pemecatan, dalam waktu dekat akan segera dilakukan pergantian antar waktu (PAW) terhadap Wahyudin di DPRD.
Komarudin menegaskan bahwa PDIP tak akan menoleransi kader yang merusak nama baik partai.
Ia pun mengimbau semua kader PDIP untuk tak melakukan perbuatan yang mencederai partai dan hati masyarakat.
Diberitakan sebelunya, Wahyudin Moridu jadi sorotan seusai videonya bersama teman wanitanya di dalam mobil viral di media sosial.
Dalam video, Wahyudin dengan lantang mengatakan bahwa dirinya menggunakan uang negara untuk bepergian ke Makassar.
Wahyudin bahkan mengatakan bahwa mereka merampok uang negara.
Seusai viral, anggota DPRD Gorontalo periode 2024-2029 ini menyampaikan permintaan maaf.
