Pemusatan latihan yang dilakukan sejak 10 Juni lalu difokuskan untuk tampil pada kualifikasi Piala Asia Putri 2026 yang bergulir di Stadion Indomilk Arena, Tangerang pada 29 Juni -- 5 Juli 2025.
Dalam ajang ini, Indonesia bertindak sebagai tuan rumah berada di grup D bersama dengan Chinese Taipei, Kirgistan dan Pakistan.
Pelatih Timnas Putri Indonesia, Satoru Mochizuki menyebut dalam persiapan ini dirinya fokus membenahkan hal-hal teknis pertandingan yang dipadu dengan latihan fisik.
Satoru juga berharap para pemain yang masih belum bergabung ke skuad garuda putri untuk segera datang.
Seperti dketahui, dari 38 pemain yang dipanggil ke TC baru sekitar 30 pemain yang hadir.
Sementara itu, kapten Timnas Putri Indonesia Shafira Ika Putri meyebut persiapan ia dan kawan-kawa sudah mencapai 80 persen
Shafira berharap di sisa waktu ini, semua para pemain Timnas Indonesia Putri bisa saling mengerti satu sama lain dan chemistry juga semakin terbangun.
