Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is finally official, and in this video we’re checking out the gameplay trailer, the release date, and the biggest new features coming in this remake of one of the most beloved Assassin’s Creed games ever. Ubisoft has confirmed that the game launches on July 9, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
This new version of Black Flag has been rebuilt in the latest version of the Anvil Engine and brings major visual upgrades, improved world detail, better weather effects, enhanced combat, smoother parkour, upgraded stealth, and expanded naval gameplay with new officers and extra content. Matt Ryan also returns as Edward Kenway, which is exactly what many fans wanted to hear.
In this video we take a look at everything shown in the trailer, including the comparison between the original game and Resynced, the improvements to exploration, sword combat, stealth mechanics, ship battles, and the overall pirate fantasy that made Black Flag so iconic in the first place.
