Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has reportedly lost 85% vision in his right eye, prompting the Supreme Court of Pakistan to order an urgent medical evaluation.During a hearing led by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, the court directed authorities to conduct a specialist ophthalmological examination before February 16. The bench also ordered prison officials to grant Khan access to his personal physicians and allow telephone contact with his sons.
Khan’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, told the court that a blood clot caused severe and possibly irreversible damage, leaving the former PM with only 15% vision in his right eye. The condition reportedly developed during his incarceration at Adiala Jail.
